Your contributions as a volunteer help Miramonte Christian School provide a high quality education for all of the students enrolled here. You help us fulfill our Mission. The assistance that you provide in the classroom, around the school, and on field trips provides a critical service to the school. You enrich the learning environment and provide needed support.

Olweus Bully-Prevention Program

The Olweus Bullying Prevention Program (OBPP) is the most researched and best-known bullying prevention program available. With over thirty-five years of research and successful implementation all over the world, OBPP is a whole-school program that has been proven to prevent and reduce bullying throughout a school setting. The goals of the program are: 

  • to reduce existing bullying among students
  • to prevent the development of new bullying
  • to achieve better peer relations at school
  • to be used at the school, classroom, and individual levels
  • to include parents and the communities involvement and support.

Miramonte Christian School implemented the Olweus program in the spring of 2014, to effect a school wide culture shift based on empathy and Christian values.
