"I am a strong believer in the value of Christian education. In addition to teaching subjects such as math and science, I also get to teach Biblical truth and Christian-based morals. During the school year, students spend more time with their teachers than they spend with their parents. Teachers play a significant role in how children see the world and act as guides as they grow and learn. Parents entrust us with their most precious possessions, their children. I pledge that every child who attends Miramonte will feel welcomed, cared for, have a laugh or two and receive a quality education. As a parent myself, I believe it is important that children be taught by teachers who seek to reflect Christ to their students in both words and deeds each day. I am proud to be a Seventh-day Adventist educator. It is my honor to teach and nurture the children in my care each and every day. "

It merely states that hope in the Lord will renew strength enough to take the next step. I often share this verse with my students because I don’t want to mislead them into thinking that following Jesus will cure all the ills in this world, but it will give us the strength and courage to keep walking when we feel like giving up."
Isaiah 40:31 But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (NIV)

Psalm 40:1-3 I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the desolate pit, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.
